How to Use Shrewd LMS as Teacher
Step-by-step instructions for installing the app, setting up courses, adding and managing activities, and accessing reports — all within Microsoft Teams.
Important Note: Shrewd LMS works natively within Microsoft Teams and does not require Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) configuration. We strongly recommend not using Azure AD groups or custom restrictions to control access, as this may cause unexpected access issues. Manage access using Microsoft Teams settings and policies only.
Shrewd Global Report
Shrewd Global Report
The Shrewd Global Report provides organisation-wide learning analytics, accessible from Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, and Outlook.
Access Methods
1. Access via Microsoft Teams
Open Shrewd LMS from the Teams sidebar. The Global Report Dashboard loads automatically, showing organisation-wide course activity, enrolment figures, and learner progress.
Tip: Pin the app to your sidebar for quicker access.
2. Access via Microsoft 365
Access Shrewd LMS through the Microsoft 365 app launcher. Find Shrewd LMS in your list of apps to open the Global Report without opening Teams.
3. Access via Outlook
Shrewd LMS is also accessible from the Outlook web app via the Microsoft 365 app launcher, giving you quick access to reports from your email environment.

- Courses Tab: View all courses in your organisation with enrolment and completion data.
- Students Tab: Browse and search all learners, view their progress across courses.
- Reports & Settings: Access detailed analytics and configure report settings.
