Shrewd LMS User Guide

The User Guide is designed to help users navigate and utilize Shrewd LMS within Microsoft Teams. It provides step-by-step instructions for installing the app, setting up courses, adding and managing activities, and accessing reports.

Adding Shrewd LMS App within Microsoft Teams

This guide is for regular users who want to use Shrewd LMS within Microsoft Teams.

Step 1: Open Microsoft Teams. You can use either the Desktop App or the Web App at https://teams.microsoft.com.

Step 2: Find and add the App. On the left sidebar, click on "Apps". In the search bar, type "Shrewd LMS". Click on the "Add" button to add the app.

Adding a Shrewd Course to Your Team and Channel

To get started with Shrewd LMS for your team, follow these steps:

1. Choose your desired Team and Channel
2. Inside channel page, add tab by clicking on the "+" button
3. Click on Shrewd LMS app
4. Click "Save" to add a Learning tab
5. The Learning tab will automatically appear on your Posts page once created

Managing Courses

Inside Shrewd LMS, you can build learning content by adding Sections and Activities. Activities supported include: Text, Documents, BLC, Video, Audio, Link, Image, SCORM, Quiz, and Panorama Interactive.

Course Settings

You can customize the course title and cover image, set course start and end dates, copy content from existing courses, manage notification settings, and archive/unarchive courses.

Reports

Track your members' progress with the Participants Report, Activity Completions Report, Student Scores (Gradebook), and Reports API for premium plan users.
